Hanging out in Houston

We have all heard it. The familiar voice of mom saying "Bloom where you are planted" or "Go have an adventure." Well, at least that is my Mom's familiar voice. Since moving to Houston 18 months ago, our little family really has been able to do a LOT of things. But there are so many more things to see and do and be a part of and experience. In a attempt at a valiant effort to not disappoint my Mom AND to enjoy our time here, I think  it best to actually make a list. To document it. What do you think? Bad idea? Good idea? I suppose only time will tell.
