I was given this. A Nikon D40. That is why my husband rocks. I have been using my camera phone for a month now. I think the best part is that
1. I had no idea.
2. He got it for as cheap as a digital point-and-shoot camera.

Hey Makana!!! Its me Marianna (from your HTM class in BYUH). I have to say I love Nikon D40s! seriously I started doing photography with it almost 2 years ago. I love the image quality etc, I've since upgraded but I'd have to say your husband has excellent taste in cameras. Have fun clicking away!!!

FYI- We love going to the Aloha Fest in Clear Lake. It's usually the first weekend in October. I look forward to the food mostly especially the manapua! I wish I knew how to make such delish food!
