She thinks I am mean

While I am not nor ever have been big on enforcing rules and the like... after she attacked THE ENTIRE BAG of my favorite treat, I had to put my foot down. Although with those big eyes and even even bigger tears I did feel guilty. How a toddler can induce guilt into an almost 30 year old woman is beyond me.

Oh boy...it's a good thing we have brown couches so that her chocolate hand prints don't show up all that well.

That last picture is adorable. If I were being looked at with big beautiful eyes like that I'd have a hard time getting mad at her.

I am the "push over too". Be strong. Eventually those big crocodile tears will be fake manipulative tears! They sure look sweet right now though!

all I have to say is oh how sad! she is so cute when she cry's. But I don't think I could ever get mad at Sophie if I tried even if she did eat my favorite treat.
She has me wrapped around her little finger and often gives me that look like please don't be mad at me. SO just let her eat your treats. She only little one time.
sorry I am on her side this time! he he

I totally know what you mean about feeling guilty! Ever since Hyrum's been around, I notice I've had to put my foot down a lot more often now...and each time I do I feel horrible!!! Most of the time I end up crying (must be the postpartum baby blues). I'm still trying to find a balance now that we have a new little one in our lives. I'll figure it out, hopefully sooner than later. ;)

btw, she ate THE WHOLE bag. No one should eat a whole bag. Strange

That is too cute. Glad you captured the look that makes it so hard for us as moms to discipline.

I am realizing that this is mostly me, (makana) you get to read about in this blog. Hmm... well, lucky you! :)
